Democratie.

-'Democatie'. Leonard Cohen.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

I heard the prophetic song 'Democracy' on my DVD 'Leonard Cohen Live in London.'In 'Songwriters on Songwriting', Paul Zollo referred to 'Democracy' as 'stunning.' I do not think he was exaggerating.
