Delirious Poem by Ragy Sandid

Delirious

Delicious, deliberate, delirious
What a fun time
When things not taken so serious

When mind controls reality
In a realm of fantasy
Created by near fatality

There, in that realm of the mind
Exist a reality hard to find
Tooted, tutored, tailored and redesigned

Sweet memories of unsavory ones
Made and shaped to taste
Hauntingly beautiful undone

When reality matches mind
Mind rejects reality
It was in a better time

Mind wishes time to draw back
Its claws away from the frame
And through black and white find a crack
