Delilah To Sampson Poem by Gainor Ventresco

Delilah To Sampson

Rating: 4.2

No more will you find me
on the sun scorched sands of time
dancing to the music of our hearts
You scorned and shamed me
forced me to steal your desire
to bury our passion
deep within my pagan soul
Other women who you loved
with transient rapture
seek you, nevermore
It is me
temptress of your soul
scarlett queen
jilted, jaded lover of your beauty
The hands of fate
which now captivate you
are mine
No Goddess can release you
from this bondage
Eternal lover
sleep now and dream
with ageless memories of Paradise

I like the traditional story and I like your poem. Maybe everyone can only lose to love.
