Delightful Ducks Poem by Meg Harrison

Delightful Ducks

I stopped to look over a bridge.
I see the river flow not a stream.
Then two ducks come floating over rocks
As they swim in the water like a team.
Now the two ducks are moving faraway.
One is brown and one green.
I can not believe what my eyes have seen.
I can walk down this street in my neighborhood again.
Maybe next time I will see ten.

You are a keen observer of nature-this poem shows. I have a similar taste like you-from my poems you can see this.

Very funny Meg. I looked over a bridge today and saw two pigeons also enjoying some close teamwork! ! ! But there is always room in the world for more ducks I say! Clair x
