Delight

As I stroll among the daisies,
Visions clear of you appear,
And my heart starts to go crazy,
And all sadness disappears.

Love and roses, salt and sea,
Bring you close, so close to me,
Heaven titillates, hearts vacillate,
But you're all that I can see.

Let the World continue crazy,
Let our lives be what they'll be,
I won't see the World as hazy,
If your sun shines down on me.

    Three perfect stanzas, each full! This is certainly a good piece of poetry.
    Loved the comments of Valerie Dohren and Roseann Shawiak and agree to both. (Report) Reply

    Love the melody I hear when reading this poem. It's sounds like hopeful love - beautiful to behold. (Report) Reply

There! little girl; don't cry!
They have broken your doll, I know;
And your tea-set blue,
And your play-house, too,
Are things of the long ago;
