I love a pumpkin festival
In the autumn time of year
Pumpkins with smiley faces
Others created mean for fear

Little kids get so excited
And hey, grown-ups do too
Adorning themselves adorably
Dressed up for me and you

Parades with kids and pets
Everyone scurrying ‘round
It’s always fun to hear
A festival kind of sound

I hope you get the chance
For it truly is a ball
To enjoy this once-a-year occasion
At a delicious pumpkin festival!
