Deistic Navigation Poem by Eric Bult

Deistic Navigation

So oft my verse has caused you much despair
As line by line my thoughts do slip away
Into strange regions of my mind and where
You somehow fear to follow in my way.
Thus it is clear each other's tracks, although
Leading directly on to common aim,
Adopt a different course, so we should know
Our way to reach our home is not the same.
It seems to me I am the only one
On this odd track, but I cannot now change
My heading since my navigation's done
By my old brain and it would then derange.

We shall become much closer as we near
The divine home that we hold in revere.
