Defrosting

Rating: 5.0

Defrosting

I was cold an freezing
The night was dark and cold
My heart was frozen solid
And my couldn't cry

I was trying to keep warm
I was trying to stay alive
Whatever i did it was not working
And the the pain would not go away

Then i felt a warm breeze comming
Like the sun it warmed my face
I could move my finger
And then i could move my leg and rise

A frozen heart was defrosting
The body felt warmer and warmer
The winter was leaving
The spring was here to stay

The warm summer had come
Gone was the cold from heart and bone
I could walk along the fields and cry
The heart was beating and the pain was gone

I had found love and a happy life
The cold winter and frozen heart
It had been taken by your love
It would never be winter and freeze again
