Deep Smile Poem by Luo Zhihai

Deep Smile

★ Deep Smile

☆ Poetry by Lin Huiyin (1904-1955, China)
☆ Translation by Luo Zhihai (1954-, China)

Who smiles so sweet, so deep
The round turn? Strings of pearls oh!
Big and small shins bright and bursts innocent indeed!
In the clear spring bottom floats. On the water face flows
Magnificent
Dispersion!

Who smiles like a flower in bloom
So light, not startle any one
Thin fragrance inadvertently, with the wind moves
Whisks in the short wall, hisses before the setting sun
Hanging
Nostalgia up

Who smiles like the tall hundred layers of tower
Attracts unknown birds hover?
Who smiles like turn of tens of thousands of wind-bells
From each layer of glass edge
Flies
Into the sky?

So sweet, so deep. With the muse of a smile. Nice work.
