Deep Inside Of Me Poem by Lora Colon

Deep Inside Of Me

Rating: 5.0

When your thirst for love cannot be quenched,
And your dreams lay withered at your side,
Deep inside of me you'll find a fountain
From which you may drink 'til satisfied

When loneliness chants its serenade,
The heart finds no joy in anything,
Deep inside of me you'll hear the music
That will cause your heart to dance and sing

When your search becomes a worthless flight,
Though your weary heart has done its best,
Deep inside of me you'll find your haven,
Come, fold those tired wings, and be at rest

And when your heart's ablaze with passion
And the flames are leaping from your eyes,
I pray it's the love deep inside of me
Feeding the flame so it never dies

Patiently I'll wait, just as the shore
Awaits the tide's return from the sea,
Soon you'll know there's no love more profound
Than the love that's deep inside of me

A beautiful love poem, Lora. Wouldn't any man want this poem written for him?
