Deep In The House Poem by Marcel Aouizerate

Deep In The House

She cannot continue
The cleaning of the house,
She cannot walk away
From the peg
With just enough rope
To hang herself.
She cannot bother to be
For another term,
The illiquid asset
Of her marriage market.
What can be tamed with
Screams, a moon-fish
Born of scam and
Mis-directed gloom,
Lurks in the living room
And she cannot
Continue arguing
Against it
With her broom.
