Deep, Deep Purple Poem by Raymond A Foss

Deep, Deep Purple

Way darker than violet
rich, saturated, pure
color-wheel-purple
shimmering color of the lilacs
full bouquets on each branch
bunches and bunches, clusters
like hydrangea blooms
heavy, intoxicating fragrance
a cloud of purple perfume
the purest color, purple
deep beyond description

I love the smell of lilacs wafting on warm breezes. Thanks for sharing
