Deep Blue Poem by Thomas Shelton

Deep Blue

Between the middle line and the one slightly to the left is that same aura
The one that looks grey, but you know better
You can see past the grey to look upon its deep blue
Almost like a good friend or a healthy human face
Inside the aura is civilization and happiness
Further inside the happiness is the truth
And inside the truth is that same deep blue
The same deep blue that reminds you that there is more out there
More life and more happiness
More people and more life to share with them
You offer life to the people as a light in the palm of your hand
Civilization excepts your gift and that same light now glows in all of them
A light that is a deep blue
