Nobody knew of the pain
The things that drove you insane
Trying to stay true to the self
While working to please everyone else

No one understood
And you could not explain
That the life you lived
Felt like it was in vain

You used laughter as a cover
From the hurts
The pains
The loneliness you felt
Deep within the pit of you it dwelt

Eating you up slowly
Deep inside
Became your landlord
Took over your pride
And ended in suicide
