The Filipino people,
Are the finest anywhere.
Like father Jerry neath his steeple,
Shows everyone how much he cares.

The Filipino nurses,
Who took care of my mom.
And never cared about their purses,
Their praises I have sung.

Father Antoine who came to my home,
And gave my mother her last rites.
Who cared when we were all alone,
And helped her find the light.

And the Filipino nurses,
Who cared so much about my wife.
Who gave her warm caresses,
And helped to save her life.

I owe the Filipino people,
More than I can e'er repay.
So this poem for you I scribble,
God will bless you every day.
