December Air Poem by Jouri Frazer

December Air

In the December air a leaf is dropped
and the cool wind makes it blow
and as it flows onto the ground it's drowned within the snow
In the December air a bear is sleep
comforted by his dreams
and while he's sound all life around is frozen at the seams
In the December air a man is out
sleeping in the street
He shivers in the frigid air as the frost bites at his feet
In the December air a child is born
but he does not scream or cry
he's as silent as the Earth when all life says goodbye
I wonder what his future holds
or how his story fares
but I wish that he be blessed by the cool December air...
