Death: Sonnet 1 Poem by Stacey Gibbs

Death: Sonnet 1

Rating: 3.0

Death stalks it's victim
Like Satan surrounds evil
Dark clouds begin to form as the first symptom
As you begin to slowly lose your soul
It will encompass your heart
Turning your heart as black as the night sky
This is when it will start
As it slowly sucks the life and last sigh
Death stalks the bully
Like God surrounds good
It's green vines wrap around you cruelly
You can't stop it now, even if you could
Death stalks my door
As I'm shot and my body and blood hit the floor
