Modern capital punishment,
Injecting lethal drugs into
The baddies are now too frequent
All botched up and messy to do.
Cruel and unusual the charge,
Putting death penalty at risk,
Letting baddies live at large,
Maybe be bad again - tsk, tsk!
Yes, shooting drugs to put asleep
For heinous crimes is deemed humane.
But 'bleeping' it up - what the 'bleep'!
Justice - less fancy and more plain.

Back to basics - a quick legal dead.
Blade in the hand - off with the head.
