Death Is The Darkness I Do Not Wish To Know



DEATH IS THE DARKNESS I DO NOT WISH TO KNOW

Death is the Darkness I do not wish to know-
It is the painlessness I do not crave -
It is that impious interlude that mocks my soul
Between its two lives-

Death is that interval of silence
I will reluctantly pass through
On my way to a deeper holier Light.
