Death Comes In The Morning



DEATH COMES IN THE MORNING


Death comes in the morning
And it comes at night
It comes when we dream
And when we can no longer sleep
It comes when we are waiting for it
And it takes us completely by surprise
Death comes in the morning the evening the night
Any and every time of day
In all places and seasons and weathers
It comes in pain and in sorrow and in just nothing
It comes and it comes and it comes
And there is no end to it
For any and for all of us
Because it is the one
We cannot defeat-
