Death Poem by Jera Dark

Death

I am loved, and hated
Forgive me for my sins
I know what I am
Death calls to me and asked
Why haven't we talked sense then
I look down on death for
He reminds me of a little one
Who only asks but never gives
I tell him I am god and he must wait for me
I tell him I am everything
I was always with you.
I forgive you
But I will never let you do as you have done before
Because death is my rival
And life is the prize we fight for.
