Death Poem by Katrina Wallace

Death

On a cold winter's night

A lone figure
Stares out their window

They watch and look
As people and cars pass them

Snow mixed with rain falling
Covering/soaking the road and trees

But none care or realize

That they could die
Anytime or anywhere

As the lone figure
Stands and watches

A shadow steps up behind
They can sense the coldness

The chilling terror as lips parted
As pain burst from within them

And on this cold winter's night

A life is forever lost to them all
