Death Poem by Jessica Caswell

Death

Rating: 4.5

it comes at you like
a bullet
never knowing
when its coming
it hurts loved ones
but they have to let you go
you cant stay close to death forever
your spirit will stay with them
they'll remember you
as the beatutiful person you were
they will always miss you
though you might have hurt them
before
it saddens them to see you go
they will feel sad forever
like someone pulled a peice
out of them
they might feel like they can't live
without you
you can see what awaits you
when death comes knocking at your door
you will see if there is
heaven or hell
and you will only know the truth
but your memories will
stay until the end

Very beautiful and strong poem that reminds me of my grandpa that passed away 15 years ago when I was 6 years old and now I am 21. Thank you for posting this poem.

you have seen the other side of life, and although we find living twice as nice, we all have to depart this world to lead the way for the others to follow.(this is well written) i think this poem is meant for you to read. read my 'poems from heaven'
