Dearness Seeks No Prize Poem by SRIVIDYA GIRI

Dearness Seeks No Prize

Dearness seeks no other prize,
But the quaintness of trusting sans question.

Is that too much to demand
For each moment of precious discourse?

Or is the reward too petty,
Given the loss of those melancholic musings in solitude
And the feeling of utter Inadequacy?
