Dear Valentine Poem by Andrew Lewis

Dear Valentine

I'm sorry it came down to this,
I do remember the first time we kissed,
The day my world changed in a daring way,
My values and qualities where in disarray,
16 an my life has changed,
I won't live to see all my days,
When I die on the field of battle,
I will remember the girl with the beautiful smile,
The one who got away,
My dying thought,
Wish I could have told you how much I love you,
And so here is to us,
What a great rush,
Love of 2,
Who knew,
But so I say goodbye,
To my beloved valentine.
