Dear Sallowmy Poem by Bancroft Boreland

Dear Sallowmy

They may take my mind
But I’ll still be dreaming of you
Death may take my body
But my heart, my soul belongs to you
Time changes everything
But it will never change my love for you
Even in death I’ll be thinking of you

When you are close
The sun seems a lot brighter
The weight of life feels much lighter
My nights are so much warmer
Even breathing becomes easier
Your love is like a food on which I feed
Sallowmy, without you
It’s not safe for me to breathe…
