Dear Pain, Walk Away

I've been spending my whole life,
thinking about you...
Trying to figure out, what did ever change you?
Time supposed to erase all the painful memories,
but, the only one that I can't forget is you.

- was it that simple to lie on me?
was it that easy to break my heart?
Have you really tried to forget me?
or you just wanted me to fall apart?

well, I think I don't care anyways,
I just want to feel ok...
So, dear pain... walk away.
No one begs you to stay.

Yeah, I still walk home all alone,
I still want to dance under the rain.
I know that what's past is past and gone...
But, I can't forget the song we used to sing.

Oh darling, I told you that...
Pain makes people change,
but I'll always be the same.

- was it that simple to lie on me?
was it that easy to break my heart?
Have you really tried to forget me?
or you just wanted me to fall apart?

well, I think I don't care anyways,
I just want to feel ok...
So, dear pain... walk away.
No one begs you to stay.

Now, I don't know what to do...
if I'm gonna see you in the street, someday.
Should I smile and talk to you...
or just fake this smile and walk away?

- was it that simple to lie on me?
was it that easy to break my heart?
Have you really tried to forget me?
or you just wanted me to fall apart?

I think I don't care anyways,
I just want to feel ok...
So, dear pain... please, walk away.
No one begs you to stay.

..Dear pain, walk away... Dear pain, walk away.
..Dear pain, walk away... No one begs you to stay.

Of Earth may shrive me of the sin
