Dear Mom Poem by Sindal Benson

Dear Mom

Dear Mom,
You gave me life,
a breath of fresh air.
You taught me to smile,
a task easily known.
You made me grow up,
before my time.
You made me strong,
even if it was wrong.
Mom, you used to scare me,
I never wanted to see,
that everything you ever did,
YOU did for ME.
Now I sit,
and think of my past.
How it hurt,
how long it last.
I wanted to thank you Mom,
for being there for me.
Though you hid,
while i was trying to run free.
I thank your soul,
and your kind eye.
For without it MOM,
I might have died.
I thank your heart,
the way you smile.
I hope you know,
it saved my life.

No matter how we fight,
I know you were always right.
And someday I hope you see,
what you really mean to me.

I truly hurt,
without your hand.
I feel I've lost,
my souls best friend.

I miss you MOM.
I hope you know,
everything i ever say,
whether it be right or wrong,
I feel my life has become a song,
the words are low,
but they hit hard.
I want you to know MOM,
nothing I say,
and nothing I do,
even when wrong,
I'm still your baby,
I'm still your little girl.

Sorry I hurt you MOM,
I wish I never have.
I want you to see,
I LOVE YOU MOM!
Whether your right,
or your wrong.

I need you MOM,
I cant stand not being near,
I need you MOM,
YOU ARE SO DEAR.
I need you MOM,
please come near.

P.S. I CARE.
