Dear Maths Poem by Andytics mufc

Dear Maths

Those elementary school days
It was love so true
Complete i felt only with you
To you i was bonded like
glue

With a trick of bodmas
I would put all your problems to bed
You returned the favour
By gifting me the first position in my class
You made me dream big
Because of you i fancied being an accountant or an engineer

But once i reached college
You changed your colours
You released unstoppable storm of terror
Upon my soul
I could no longer solve your problems
Your ruthless calculus
Tormented my brain
Till it teared up the ligament of our bond

Oh! ! my old lover
Open your arms again
I crave for us once more
