Dear Lord Poem by David Harris

Dear Lord

Rating: 5.0

If I may stumble, Lord,
will you pick me up
and help me on my way.

If my life gets unbearable, Lord
will you put your arms around me
and ease the pain I feel.

If one day, Lord
I fell so low
will you throw me a lifeline
and help me to climb up.

Dear Lord hear my prayer
as I walk with you each day.
I am but a humble man
when I appear before you on my way.

Stumble is such a beautiful word - and a perfect beginning to this humble prayer. I'm sure your words will be answered David, written as they are with such unaffected grace. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
