Dear Jewel Poem by Joshua Akinwande

Dear Jewel

Three values seek I in my jewel,

It must be true and pure with -in,

It must be calm and bright with-out,

Existing just for its purpose.

Three steps will I take to reach it,

I’ll swim across the seven seas of the earth,

I’ll dare the seven tribes of Canaan,

And risk all just having it.
