Dear Daughter Poem by Angel Izquierdo

Dear Daughter

Lexi Jolie, Dear daughter of mine,
when you came into my life,
you made it blossom and shine

The first time that I saw you, brought
a small tear to my eye
You made me a new father and
completely changed my life

As the years have passed
I've watched you grow so
beautiful and smart
I want to tell you baby girl that
you're a big part of my heart

It scares me just to think that
you're growing up so fast
But grab my hand and hold it tight
and lets make memories that last
