Dealing With Problems - Poem by Bruce Larkin

They say an upset ostrich
Will stick its head in the ground.
That's no way to fix a problem.
It's not how solutions are found.

When something's not going right
And you wonder if life is fair,
Sticking your head in the ground
Will just get dirt in your hair.

Nice way to say what we all need to hear now and then. And it's good advice. (Report) Reply

It is not fair to close our eyes in the face of a real problem. This will not lead us to a solution. Rather we must strike the situation head on. Thanks for presenting the practical side in the poem. (Report) Reply
