Silence could be
A most violent tool.
Full power
#! ! Boom! ! #

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Altough silence is a wonderful thing to long for, it could also be wrongly used, as a weapon. Imagine nobody would say a word to you
at work, school, in the neighbourhood or worst, at home. It could not only hurt but literally destroy somebody, it could even bring one to death. Please be aware, try not to use silence in such ways.

Short and powerful. I would think you could do a series like this one, maybe 8-10. Keep them simple.

i HEAR you! but i'm glad you used the qualifier could. obviously silence CAN be 'golden' as well. it is not always, i think, so much the silence, as it is the uncertainty of both parties about what the other is thinking. thanks for sharing. bri :) it is said that a picture is 'worth a thousand words', BUT a lack of words sometimes can cause a thousand (well maybe less) pictures to float around inside someone's brain, which can be unsettling.
