Dead Soul

A dead soul never beats
A dead soul never sleeps
A dead soul will never be
A dead soul is you and me
A soul is trapped in every bin
It finds its way in
But can't find a way out
So it sits forever until it dies out
There is a soul in us all
We must keep it alive by tending its call
But sooner or later
Every soul dies
Pinning us here
To worship and cry
