Dead Man's Tale Poem by Moth Harris

Dead Man's Tale

Rating: 3.5

I saw a dead man walk a lonely mile
To kiss the lips of a hungry crocodile
He once ran on old rusty railroad tracks
Ran faster then the train with the speed he lacks

His tale is not pleasent or good at all
It all started at the old dearborn dance hall
Met a pretty girl by the name of she
Tied ribbon around his heart beautifully

They danced all night until the sun awoke
He opened his eyes to find his new heart broke
She tied the ribbon so tight that it bled
and he will never forget the words she said

'Love is a card game are you ready to deal
Time and memories are all true but not real
You hit but the chance of busting is high
Chips are on the table, someones gonna die'
