Days When Terror Live Walked Through Jungles Poem by Terence George Craddock

Days When Terror Live Walked Through Jungles

Rating: 5.0

terror was in the jungle terror walked the jungle
upon silent paws terror stealth moving unseen
terror myth legend moved from village to village
by feared word of mouth in battles past terror tiger
stalked killed caught villagers moving unseen
killing unseen victims dying unknowing stalked
seconds dissipating footfalls falling paws noiseless
leaping ending in crunch seconds life departing

a meal for the tiger sorrow tragedy
for villagers afraid of jungle shadows
stretching back through centuries

to primeval fears feasting predators
killing silently in dark nights of humanity
hunted by shadow fears in the night
