Days Of Olcott Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

Days Of Olcott

When sunshine comes down into a darken sky-
A quiet befalls Olcott Beach
The carousel with shops now closed-
Brings silence, to our streets

Waterfowl nesting along the harbor-
Make lovely calling sounds
While campers gather by the fire-
With their tall fish tales to tell

A delightful dance is orchestrated-
By natures symphony
As fireflies fill the air-
In a rhythmic harmony

Fishing boats line the docks-
Awaiting a new day
To host our tourists on a fishing trip-
Beyond the Olcott bay

Dreams are made of happiness-
And love builds from joyful times
Songs are sung from memories-
That we hold dear in our minds

Olcott is a family town-
Where our fishing is well known
Perhaps, once you visit us-
You'll make Olcott your home
