Daybreak Poem by Juan Gaxiola

Daybreak

Rating: 5.0

Fresh and peaceful is the break of day.
The feathered creatures burst into song
And the grass bathes in sparkling rain.

Mountains are slowly covered in blankets of light.
From the base to the peaks
The sun climbs the cliffs ignoring its height.

The brightest star rises from its slumber;
It exposes the world bit by bit
And heats it up during the summer.

Light seeps through towering bushes all around.
Breezy winds imitate the sunbeams
And leaves gently dive towards the ground.

All is peaceful during the break of dawn.
The sights and sounds
Are harmonious and calm.
