Daybreak

My daybreak eludes me.
When I am in the dark,
My light escapes me.

My daybreak eludes me.
She waits not for me;
I longed too see me.

My daybreak eludes me.
Each loss I do feel,
Even if I can't see.

My daybreak eludes me.
As it hides in nooks,
The harder I look.

My daybreak eludes me.
Tiired of my searching,
I rest my whole being.

My daybreak eludes me.
I closed my eyes,
And there it was.

My daybreak is in me.
My mind was the sun
upon my clouded heart.
