Day Two On A Cruise Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Day Two On A Cruise

Cruising in a big ship
With thousands on board
Together with family and
Friends is a great delight.

Roaming on the open deck
Looking at the blue ocean
Opens one's eyes to search
Deep inside and contemplate.

Ocean's valleys're deeper
Than height of mountains
Ocean holds life inside
And hides many secrets.

Ships have grown bigger
With amenities built in
All those who travel
Enjoy the food and stay.

Visiting many distant
Lands of beauty relaxes
The mind, body and soul
Rejuvenating life itself.

Our recent trip to Alaska
Started from the city Seattle
I write this poem on day two
More to follow for the week.
