I went to buy an umbrella
But they were out of stock
So I went to the next shop
To buy a cheap wallclock
But their clocks were uglylooking
So I bought nothing today
Went home to see whats cooking
And met Johnny on the way
He said he was going to get an umbrella
And I warned him to his dismay
That the umbrella he wanted to buy
Wasn't in yet for sale
So we trampled home drenched in trenchcoats
Oh how life is funny
What a waste of time
But at least I saved my money.
