Daughter, Mother, Crone Poem by moon batchelder

Daughter, Mother, Crone

i am the triune goddess - i am
daughter - mother - crone.
possessed of every season, and
for reasons Her's alone,
i am at once these three - together -
both woven and the weaver,
the act and art of weaving - also -
tried and true believer!

i am the north wind blowing - i am
sultry southern air.
i am the coalesence of their mingling -
i dare
perhaps for She compels me - whom the
universe Herself composes -
to co-create and flow within
the auspices that She supposes.

i am the dream, the dreamer - i am
she who wakens soon.
i am the turning planet - i am
both sun and moon,
i am the dancer, dance and dancing:
tho eternal - momentary -
participant in each occurrance,
both sublime and ordinary.

i am the very Goddess - i am
all that i behold.
a blessing and a curse - at once,
rehearsed in stories told;
fable, fact or slight non-fiction -
i am the always - and the never;
i'm creation, creature and creator
- goddess of forever

Wow! What a wonderful verse to the Grand Dame! I think you have captured her essence with perfect artistic personification. A favorite for sure.
