Darling Child Poem by karen sinclair

Darling Child

My darling
For a few short weeks you held that which was your dearest dream
Closest to your chest
Your body prepared
Changed slowly
Nothing showing
You smiled and carried on regardless
Unbeknown
And
Then your dear little darling
My dream grand baby
Left
And the pain it remains with all of us

The loss of a child is always palpable and leave a wound that may never heal. A fine loving dedication.
