Darkness Within Poem by Raven Bonner

Darkness Within

Darkness so bright I can't see a thing
Clouding my senses
Unable to breath

Bound by chains of sins not my own
Sin of the father
No place to call home

Carried henceforth on the wings of my demons
Talons dig deep to the bone it seems
There darkness mingled with mine
Becoming one

Forever alone in a crowded room
Forever cold on the warmest day
Forever bound by sins unforgiven

Cursed by my blessings
Blessed by my curses

My darkness unleashed
Upon a world unsuspecting

Within me is the key to forever
Forever what?
Now that I don't know.
