Darkness Seeps. Poem by Miki Byrne

Darkness Seeps.

Darkness Seeps.

Darkness has no definition.
No line or boundary
But a soft bleeding into the now.
With the dawning,
The eyes opening.

First lights gentle probing
But nothing harsh.
No frame or doorway.
Darkness seeps like moisture
Into every tiny space.
