Darkness Pollutes Poem by Rachel BaByBeAr Anderson

Darkness Pollutes

Darkness is unfolding
blinding the light in my mind
harsh thoughts holding
clouding fear from my eyes
I see nothing good here
all I feel is the bad
its enough to fear
all lost things I used to have
I dont want to see it
crumbling, falling as I cry
losing myself bit by bit
as I listen to lonely lies
polluting my air now
making me cry out
if only the light would come back
would I get my life back?
maybe I could hide it all
build the darkness into a wall
conceal my hidden secrets there
and hope for no more nightmares
anymore
