Darkness Holds Poem by Himanshu Sanghani

Darkness Holds

Rating: 4.0

</>Darkness holds my self, I imagined being that light
break open the surrogate walls clutching me, but
never got the chance to feel the truth
the self exist;
I want to touch the realm of reconcile

Thee divine help me!

Within the black walls I was lost, it never ended in depth
I played the games mimic, deceive the captivity
deceive the crawlers
imagining a break free and triumph
and my only chance to see thee

Thee divine help me!

I prayed! I put forward myself as thou child
enthralled upon me thou powers, thou courage
destroy these walls and breathe the divine air
as the maggots eat the eye
I now give my soul to you

A voice herald upon me
look nowhere! look inside I liveth within you
Thy soul is my soul, know thyself you have the powers
as a blade to break open and slash
as saith you shall reconcile
and breathe

Know thyself
