Darkness And Dreams Poem by DEEP DARK SOUL POET

Between the darkness and my dreams
there’s an illusion of light
there is only what seems
out of touch, out of sight.

In the dreams in the dark
and the light of illusion
what seems is the spark
that ignites our confusion.

Since what is apparent
may be misperceived
false or aberrant,
what should we believe?

Should we then abandon
the dream world as fake,
ignoring as random
brainwaves in its wake?

Dreams lie between
the illusions ignited
by sparks only seen
when the ignorant become sighted.
