It comes at me
From all sides
There is no escape
Nowhere to hide
Darkness

When it engulfs me
I feel nothing
I think nothing
I feel my life pass
Leaving me behind
Darkness

I see faces look at me
They have a sad look on their face
They wear black
They give me flowers
Darkness

One by one they talk to me
I can't talk back
They tell me what they are sorry for
They tell me they love me
Darkness

I begin to realize
They pick me up
Carrying me to a car
They drive me to a place
Darkness

I try to look around
But I can't
They lower me down
I know where they've brought me
Darkness

I'm dead
They are burying me
Mourning that I am dead
I close my eyes
Drift off to sleep
